At its heart is a central control which, depending on the setting, either reduces the sample rate of the signal or transforms it into an increasingly degraded reverse signal. The whole thing is complemented by a selectable modulation and a glitchy delay that reacts either via random processes or via envelope and can be smeared into reverberant ambient surfaces. Thanks to stereo I/O, presets, expression and MIDI control as well as MIDI clock sync, Parting is aimed at anyone who is consciously looking for experimental textures ranging from broken LoFi repetitions to randomly decaying reverb atmospheres!
