Body and neckThe Fender AS James Burton Telecaster comes with a basswood body and a maple neck, which is equipped with a '60s "U" neck profile to not only guarantee flexible playability but also to be able to convey a portion of vintage feeling. The maple fingerboard has a radius of 9.5" and 21 frets, while the synthetic bone nut has a width of 42 mm. PickupsAlthough the pickup configuration of the James Burton Telecaster with its three single coils is atypical for a Tele, it provides a versatile sound that is ideal for use in the genres in which James Burton was most at home! The three Specially Designed James Burton pickups produce a dynamic output that is particularly characterized by an articulate sound character. Depending on the position of the 5-way toggle, not only can soft mids and clear highs be tickled out of the guitar, but crisp nuances and expressive vocal sounds can also be produced thanks to the pickup in the middle position. Whether clean, crunch or warm overdrive: the versatility of the James Burton sound is definitely reflected in his signature model! Gold-plated hardwareThe James Burton Telecaster's gold-plated Hardware complements the unique Red Paisly Flames finish while providing reliable maintenance for the instrument. With a 6-saddle American Series String-Thru-Body Strat bridge, the electric guitar does not have a classic Telecaster bridge, but the hardware element provides a robust string action and clean intonation and makes every string change easy. Furthermore, deluxe cast/sealed tuning machines with pearl buttons are available to guarantee reliable tuning. In addition to the iconic Telecaster control plate, there is also a gold-plated neck plate on the back of the instrument, which connects the body and neck.
