The 2019 PRS Silver Sky in Dodgem Blue is the ultimate evolution of the classic single-coil guitar, co-designed by Paul Reed Smith and John Mayer to blend vintage character with modern PRS precision. This premium instrument features a resonant alder body paired with a bolt-on maple neck, carved into the comfortable custom 635JM profile. It sports a traditional 7.25” radius rosewood fretboard adorned with the iconic PRS small bird inlays, delivering a familiar vintage feel with effortless playability.
At the heart of its exceptional tone are three custom-voiced 635JM single-coil pickups, engineered to offer a full, round sound with musical highs and that signature blues-rock "cluck" in positions 2 and 4. Driven by a standard 5-way switch, master volume, and two tone controls, it provides immense sonic versatility. Complete with a vintage-style steel tremolo bridge and locking tuners for rock-solid tuning stability, this American-crafted guitar is a flawless studio and stage workhorse.
