Description

The Accuphase E-270 is a high-fidelity integrated amplifier that was released in Japan in 2016. Like other Accuphase amps, the E-270 is remarkable for both its highly advanced circuit engineering and the high quality of the components used in its construction. The technical specs of the E-270 are impressive, featuring Accuphase’s original output stage configuration with high-power transistors in parallel push-pull arrangement, which can deliver 90 watts of clean, quality power to each channel (at 8 ohms). It features superb circuitry and high-grade materials, providing a smooth time-domain experience and a great SNR. The signal path is logic relay controlled to achieve the shortest path. It features Accuphase’s newly developed AAVA technology (Accuphase Analog Vari-gain Amplifier), an advanced volume control which offers low distortion and high precision. The AAVA volume control system on this E-270 is phenomenal, and the numerical volume display is a nice additional feature. By virtue of these engineering feats, as well as a host of others, the sound quality provided by the E-270 is nothing short of exceptional. This particular unit is in excellent condition. It is cosmetically beautiful with some minor scratches and scuffs(please check photos). **The power cable is not original.
