The Gibson Les Paul Custom "Phenix" is the iconic guitar used by Peter Frampton since 1976. Although it was lost in a tragic plane crash in 1980, this legendary instrument miraculously survived and, after many years, returned to Peter Frampton.

The Gibson Custom Shop is proud to present a VOS reissue of this historic guitar, characterized among other features by an ultra-lightweight mahogany body, gold hardware, Grover tuners, Schaller strap locks, and a set of three Custombuckers.

The VOS finish gives the instrument an original look without compromising its aesthetic integrity with invasive scratches and dents.
