Bought new from Thomann in 2021 for a short studio project that only ran for a couple of months. Since then, the guitar has been safely stored in its original Taylor Deluxe brown hardshell case, in a smoke-free, climate-controlled space.
It’s in mint condition, both visually and sonically - no scratches, dents, or fret wear, only a light layer of dust from storage.
The Taylor 314ce-N bridges the gap between the warmth of classical nylon-string guitars and the comfort and playability of modern steel-strings. Its Grand Auditorium body shape with cutaway provides excellent balance and projection while allowing easy access to upper frets. The solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid sapele back and sides delivers a warm, articulate tone with sparkling highs and smooth, rounded bass response.
A slightly narrower 47.6 mm nut width and Taylor’s signature neck profile make it far more comfortable for players coming from electric or steel-string backgrounds. The onboard Taylor ES-N electronics provide a natural, dynamic amplified tone, with active bass, treble, and volume controls for easy stage or studio use.
