The Fender Custom Shop Limited ’64 L-Series Stratocaster Heavy Relic Aged Daphne Blue 2025 is a stunning tribute to the mid-sixties Stratocaster, built in limited numbers as part of the 2024 collection. Handcrafted at the Fender Custom Shop in Corona, it faithfully recreates the look, feel and tone of a vintage classic, enhanced by modern playability. The body is made of 2-piece alder, finished in Heavy Relic Aged Daphne Blue, with a 3-ply mint green pickguard. The quarter-sawn maple neck features a 1963 Strat C profile, bolt-on construction and a rosewood round lam fingerboard with a 7.25”-9.5” compound radius and 21 medium vintage frets. Electronics include three Custom Shop handwound Strat Fat 64 pickups, controlled by a 5-way switch and Strat Vintage Modified Wiring #2 Relic. Hardware consists of a Custom Shop Vintage Strat Relic bridge, vintage-style relic tuners, and chromenickel relic finish across all components. A collector-grade instrument, yet perfectly suited for live performance, offering the full dynamics and tonal range of an authentic mid-60s Stratocaster.
