Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom ’59 Stratocaster Time Capsule, new for 2025, Fiesta Red Faded Aged finish. This is a Strat made in the prestigious “Vintage Custom” series, designed to obsessively replicate the specifications, materials and feel of pre-CBS guitars. The “Time Capsule” treatment indicates a finish that is only cosmetically aged, with no functional relics or wear from simulated activity on the instrument. The body is select alder (2 pieces) with a slightly faded Fiesta Red Flash Coat Lacquer finish. The quartersawn maple neck with a ’59 Esquire “C” profile is finished in vintage color with a thin coat of nitrocellulose. Dark rosewood fingerboard (AAA) with a 7.25″-9.5″ compound radius and narrow tall 6105 frets. The electronics are equipped with three Fender Custom Shop ’59 Strat CC pickups, hand-selected to balance output and dynamic response. The hardware includes an American Vintage bridge with shaped steel saddles, vintage tuners and ivory-colored plastic accessories. The wiring is classic: 5-way selector, master volume and two tones.
