The Panoramic Stereo brings the Magnatone stereo experience in a lower wattage than the Twilighter Stereo. It is powered by four EL84s for 12+12 watts of all tube stereo power. All of this plus Magnatone's exclusive varistor pitch shifting vibrato and a full length Accutronics reverb tank means you can get all of the iconic “Maggie” effects with more control over stage and rehearsal volume.

What Do We Think

This is a killer pedal platform, providing a full frequency response with a neutral tonality that doesn’t have any unnecessary bumps or scoops in the EQ. When pushed into overdrive, this amp allows a magnificent edge-of-breakup sound rivaling it predecessors, specifically the 280 models of the late 50’s.

The Vibrato on this amp is truly unique. On the FM side you will hear Magnatone’s signature pitch shifting effect moving in stereo from from cab to cab. At higher intensities this is a truly psychedelic experience. At lower intensities it can color your playing in a most beautiful way without stealing the show. On the AM setting the effect switches to a traditional tremolo with a pulse more centered between the cabs. Of particular note is the ability to visualize the speed via the LED on the included footswitch, and the expression pedal option that allows for incredible Leslie-like sounds.

The Reverb is also footswitchable and entertains a huge range of effect. At early points on the dial, it gives delivers a nice “room” sound with a slightly cavernous quality. As you turn to higher levels, it becomes equal parts Dick Dale and Junior Brown. Combined with the vibrato you can conjure up intense effects from underwater to otherworldly.
