Mounting of LCD Display is plug and play. No soldering is required.

The delivery includes an already soldered cable ready to plug in. Roland used in W30 a very special connector. We rebuild theses connector with handcraft pincompatible to the original one.

• high-frequency noise (beeping) of the transformer is eliminated
• much longer lifetime of the backlight compared to the lifetime of EL-films
• lower power consumption

Notes on assembly LCD Display for Roland W30:

The instrument must be almost completely disassembled to access the display.
We strongly recommend to take the circuit part, which generates the backlight voltage for the old display, permanently out of operation. For this you have to cut two small componnents. No soldering is required.
This procedure is described in the manual. This work should only be done by technically, preferably electrotechnically skilled people.
