This is a very rare early production Ibanez solid body Bass from 1961…their 4th year in business. Its Red/Brown’burst is quite attractive over a solid mahogany body. Its Rosewood neck has block inlays & its Fender type headstock was bold at that time & has a groovy script Ibanez logo on it. Its white Mutha-o-Toilet pickgards are so deco w/its long wood thumb rest. Its 1 factory humbucker is quite punchy. Its bridge still has its nylon saddles & still sports its chrome cover. Its chrome tuners hold tune well. Other than having a left foot painted on the back of the body, she’s all original but could use a good set up. This was a P Bass competitor at that time & quite a cool bass overall. No case is included.
