Ibanez FC10 Fat Cat Distortion pedal from the highly collectible Power Series (10-Series), manufactured in Japan during the late 1980s. The Fat Cat is famous among tone purists for being Ibanez's direct answer to the legendary ProCo RAT circuit, sharing a very similar architecture but with its own distinct, smooth boutique flavor. The FC10 delivers a versatile range of dirt that sits perfectly between a thick, crunch overdrive and a full-blown fuzz-edged distortion. Thanks to its vintage operational amplifier and clipping stage, the pedal retains an incredibly fat low-end and a chunky, vocal midrange that ensures your guitar never sounds thin or nasal, even at higher saturation levels. The control layout is intuitive and highly interactive, allowing you to easily dial in your signature crunch:

• Distortion: Sweeps from a warm, subtle classic rock bite to a heavy, saturated, and fuzzy grind.
• Tone: A very musical high-frequency filter that lets you smooth out the top end or add cutting bite without becoming harsh or ice-picky.
• Level: Controls the overall output volume, offering plenty of push to drive the front end of your amplifier.

Housed in the iconic, road-ready 10-series metal chassis with its unique battery compartment design, this pedal is a fantastic piece of vintage Japanese guitar history. It shows typical cosmetic wear for a genuine 1980s effects pedal but functions perfectly, with clean potentiometers and a reliable switch.Specs:
