Up for sale is the Z Vex Effects Distortron distortion pedal in its iconic red finish. This pedal is highly regarded for its ability to perfectly replicate the organic crunch and natural compression of a vintage 1966 Marshall JTM45 amplifier with everything turned up to ten. It is incredibly touch-sensitive and cleans up beautifully when you roll back your guitar's volume knob.

The Distortron is essentially the distortion engine from the famous Box of Rock, but with added controls that give you much more flexibility to match the pedal to different amplifiers and guitar pickups.Key controls and features include:

• Lo/Hi Gain Switch: Toggles between the standard Box of Rock gain level (Lo) and a boosted high-gain mode (Hi) for extra saturation, sustain, and beef.
• Subs Switch: A 3-way toggle that controls the sub-bass frequencies. Setting 3 is the full, stock Box of Rock low-end. Settings 2 and 1 progressively tighten up the bass, which is perfect for keeping your sound clear through darker amplifiers or humbucker pickups.
• Drive (Crackle Okay): Adjusts the amount of distortion. Like other classic Z Vex circuits, it features a unique pot design that may crackle slightly when turned, which is completely normal and part of the original design.
• Tone and Volume: Highly responsive controls to shape the high-frequency response and set the overall output level.

The pedal is in great cosmetic and perfect working condition, offering an expansive range of classic rock and hard rock tones in a compact, pedalboard-friendly enclosure.

Specs:

• Designed to simulate vintage Marshall JTM45 amplifier tones
• Red aluminum chassis
• 3-way Subs switch for low-end frequency control
• Lo/Hi gain toggle switch for versatile drive structures
