Handbuilt in small batches by Knut Helle in Bergen, Norway. Pladask pedals sell out within minutes of release, so used ones rarely come up, especially in Europe.

Baklengs is Norwegian for "backwards". It began as a reverse delay and grew into a granular synthesiser disguised as a delay pedal. It delays, reverses, time stretches, shuffles, freezes and pitch shifts, then folds it all back through feedback. Use it as a subtle forward and reverse delay, a micro looper or a glitch and texture machine. The MOD control adds a warped, tape-like wobble that's worth the price alone.

Controls: CLK, VOL, MIX, LOOP, MOD and TIME (zero through time stretch to freeze), plus toggles for loop mode, direction and pitch (down, zero, up). Two footswitches.

Unit #54 from the 2025 batch. Pladask sold it as B stock, meaning it's the same pedal with the same sounds and functions but was graded down at the workshop for minor cosmetic flaws. It works perfectly and is in very good condition, with a few light marks on the faceplate and scuffs on the raw aluminium, all shown in the photos.
