Introduced in 1982 as the worldfs first MIDI-compatible instrument, the Prophet-600 is the younger sibling of the legendary gProphet-5.h It features a memory function that allows you to save up to 100 custom sounds.
Its sound has a bright, edgy character.
It features an arpeggiator and sequencer, as well as two oscillators per voice, capable of producing sawtooth, triangle, and variable pulse waves. Each oscillator can be tuned individually or synchronized (synced).
It also features high-quality VCF (voltage-controlled filter) and VCA (voltage-controlled amplifier) sections inherited from the Prophet-5.
Furthermore, the Prophet-5fs gPoly-Modh function has been faithfully carried over.
