The Fender American Professional Telecaster represents the modern evolution of the traditional American Telecaster. The Butterscotch Blonde version with a maple fretboard combines classic Telecaster aesthetics with modifications designed to enhance playability, intonation, and versatility.The model features two V-Mod single-coil pickups designed by Tim Shaw, specifically voiced for the neck and bridge positions. The result is a highly defined, bright, and dynamic Telecaster tone that maintains a more balanced response compared to traditional vintage pickups.The neck features the new Modern Deep "C" profile—fuller than the classic "C" shape yet still designed to feel fast and comfortable. The maple fretboard features a 9.5" radius and 22 Narrow Tall frets, which are particularly well-suited for string bending.
