About this listing
Outfitted with the Gotek FlashFloppy USB drive (v4.45). The 2.54mm jumper cap has been set from S1 to S0 to ensure compatibility with the Ensoniq Mirage architecture. The standard floppy disk drive will be included at no extra charge. The 4-PIN Mini Molex connector that supplies power to the Gotek has had its wires swapped, with the white 5V feeding into the Gotek. I had to hot glue the wires flush with the end of the Molex connector because the brittle pins that held the wires in place had broke. The power supply should remain consistent as long as you aren't taking the drive out of its chassis and twisting it in unusual angles. There was a broken F1 key towards the right that has since been replaced. It is perfectly in-line with the golden contact spring at the bottom and should pose no issues when in use.**KNOWN ISSUES*The Gotek Drive and the Mirage DSK-1 display are both frozen on their respective "FlashFloppy+" and double-hyphen screens. This is supposedly due to my FAT32 USB 2.0 being too large at 32GB capacity (despite having used Rufus to convert said USB). I have all my Mirage files converted to the .hfe format and yet the drive has refused to read any information.I have been unable to test the buttons on the front panel due to the aforementioned disk reading issue. I am under the assumption that everything on the front panel is functional since removing the data ribbon cable from the Gotek displays the "nd" (no disk) error on the Mirage. This keyboard was a minor restoration project and is sold as described. The images provided showcase the current state of the product.
