[Features]
In the trumpet lineup designed by Jerome Carré, the name “JAZZ” was given in the final stage, with a view to full-scale distribution to countries around the world.

Therefore, it's not a "jazz-only model" as its name might suggest.

The defining feature of this instrument lies in its expander bore (multi-bore) design, which expands from 450" to 470"."

While it expands to 470" around the valve casing, equivalent to an extra-large bore, it doesn't feel like a simple large-bore design, nor does it have the airflow dispersion or strain. Rather, there's a distinct resistance near the mouthpiece, and this trumpet efficiently converts airflow into sound by utilizing that support.

The most impressive aspect is the playing feel in the high register.

With typical trumpets, the sound tends to thin out or the sweet spot narrows as the register rises, but with this model, you can play with a feeling that's an extension of the mid-range. Even in the high register, the density of the sound is not easily lost, maintaining fullness and brightness while projecting clearly. The rich, resonant sound is a unique charm of this instrument.

Of course, it's perfectly suited for big band and lead playing, but its appeal extends far beyond that. Jerome Carré's aim wasn't to create an instrument specialized for a specific genre, but rather one that efficiently brings out the player's expressive abilities. This philosophy is strongly reflected in this JAZZ model.

Depending on the mouthpiece used, the instrument's character changes dramatically, making it versatile enough for everything from big band and wind ensemble to pop and solo work. If you approach it without being misled by the model name, you'll realize that its true essence is that of an "all-around, soloistic trumpet."
