Eduardo Ferrer is a Granada luthier who worked from the Cuesta de Gómerez — the legendary street in the heart of Granada's old town that has been the centre of Spanish guitar making for generations. Over the course of his career, Ferrer taught and influenced a number of builders who are well known today, making him a quiet but meaningful figure in the lineage of the Granada school.
This 1983 classical guitar is signed by Eduardo Ferrer himself — a personal mark on an already distinguished instrument. It stands out immediately for two reasons: it is exceptionally light for a classical guitar, and it is exceptionally loud. Lightness and projection do not always go hand in hand, but in this guitar they coexist naturally — supported by a clear, focused tone, strong bass response, and good overall projection. The spruce soundboard has aged into a deep, resonant voice, and the Indian rosewood back and sides give it warmth and body. French polish finish in excellent condition. Original vintage case included. A distinctive instrument from a builder who quietly helped shape the Granada tradition.
