Upcycled Percussion - Slingshot Shaker - Multicolored Bottle Caps

The Slingshot Shaker combines the frame of a potato masher and various jingles, most often bottle caps, to form a fun, rhythmic rattle capable of fast patterns and a tone that occupies its own space in the percussive landscape.

This is a two-row shaker with multicolored bottle caps and this frame is one of our faves: a concise, single piece of molded plastic, and a very compact feel (9" long).

The video linked here features a different Slingshot, but they are quite similar in build and response, despite the difference in frame materials.
