This is a fairly rare first version of the Ibanez RG7421, which was made in Japan by FujiGen. It was released as a replacement for the RG7620 in 2000 and was discontinued in 2003. This features a 3-piece maple/bubinga Wizard-7 type neck and a solid Basswood body. The scale length is 648mm/251/2“ and the bridge pickup is a v87 while the neck pickup is a v77.
The quality is outstanding, as you would expect from Fujigen and the neck feels fantastic. This guitar is all original and has no repairs or modifications. The neck is straight and plays great with nice low action. The frets show little wear and have plenty of life left, there is no buzzing or fretting out. The truss rod is fully functional and has plenty of room for future adjustments. There are some minor nicks, chips, scratches, and scuffs, see pictures. This does not come with a case, but it will be packed with lots of bubble wrap and extra precautions taken.
Please see all pictures, I do my best to show up close and clear images of all imperfections.
I usually ship the same or next day and take extra precautions to ensure a safe arrival, please see feedback and buy with confidence. All items are shipped with UPS Signature Required and Reverb Safe Shipping, please contact beforehand if you’d like to make modifications to deliveries
