General Electric A1-900 record compensator is an adjustable high impedance passive network for use with standard type cartridges.

Designed for use with General Electric variable reluctance cartridges, it provides adjustable playback response for the most widely used disc recording characteristics.

The five settings include two scratch filter positions for noisy records.

No circuit loss is introduced by the use of the compensator.
