Gibson ES 330 TD 1965 (64 specs)

The guitar still fully adheres to the specifications from 1964: wide 1 11/16 inch nut width, nickel hardware, and a fine medium C-neck. Later in 1965, the necks became thinner, the nut width narrower, and the hardware changed to chrome.

Despite its age, this guitar is still in beautiful condition. It has some lacquer checking, and the nickel hardware has dulled a bit, but otherwise, the guitar is in remarkably good condition with a beautiful dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The frets were worn, so I had the guitar refretted with medium jumbo (period-correct) frets. It is perfectly set up and plays really well.

This 330 is completely original except for the tuners (period-correct tuners are installed): so original P90 pickups, ABR-1 bridge, pots, black beauty capacitors, pickguard, tailpiece, etc. Although it didn't come with an original case when I bought it, I later purchased an original '60s Gibson Lifton case (this is the case that belongs to this guitar). Of course, you will get this with it.

This guitar sounds really amazing and is very versatile. Acoustically, the guitar already has a lot of volume and sounds very nice. Vintage P90s are known for their power, and the pickups in this guitar are no exception.

They sound full and warm with the typical P90 bite.
