This official Gibson 60s Burstbucker Humbucker Pickup represents Gibson's drive to recapture the magic of the original Patent Applied For humbucker pickups where they were wound using imprecise machines resulting in varying degrees of output and tone. The Gibson 60s Burstbucker captures the subtle variations of true, classic humbucker tone with historically unbalanced coil windings, alnico five magnets for a brighter tone and vintage braided two conductor wiring while being left unpotted. The pickups produce an airy, full tone and when overdriven they achieve a magical distortion with the slightly enhanced highs that made the originals so famous.
