Sigma RM-140E Electro Acoustic Cone Resonator, Mahogany is equipped with cone resonator that provides a unique brash tone with a powerful projection. Crafted with an all-mahogany body, the RM-140E can produce rich, earthy tones and a midrange character. The RM-140E is equipped with a Tesla Pickup for added projection, along with volume and tone controls mounted on the cover plate. 

 


The Sigma RM-140E is crafted with an all-mahogany body, and offers an attractive dark grain along with a superb tone. Mahogany produces strong tone with clear, bright trebles and an earthy character. This wonderful tone is enhanced with the concert body shape, that delivers a punchy midrange character to the mix. This type of body shape also offers comfort, and is well suited for seated players.


A cone resonator delivers its sound by carrying the string vibration through the bridge to a spun metal cone, producing a loud brash tone. 


Equipped with a Tesla pickup, the Sigma RM-140E allows the unique tonal character of their resonator guitar to be amplified for larger audiences, or occasions where extra volume is need. This simple and unobtrusive pickup captures that signature tone with perfect accuracy and resistance to feedback wiith control options for Volume and Treble, mounted on the cover plate.


Another feature of this striking guitar is the real bone nut that offers greater resonance and sustain, when compared to other materials. Its rigid properties provides a longer lasting nut, and will keep strings perfectly in place without slippage.


For added perfection, the Sigma RM-140E resonator is finished with a set of EXP16 strings from D'Addario, and feature plain steel strings and hexagonal cores made of revolutionary NY High Carbon Steel. Ideal for balance of volume, projection and comfortable playability.
