The Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal was produced from 1983 to 1991 and has long since earned its legendary status among distortion pedals. With all controls cranked to the max, it delivers its unmistakable signature sound, which played a defining role in shaping the Swedish death metal scene. But there’s much more to the HM-2 than its legendary “chainsaw sound” – this pedal is surprisingly versatile.
