This used Pair of Rosewood Cooperman Concert Model 5 Nick Petrella is a legendary, highly regarded concert snare drumstick designed for orchestral percussionists. Known for its exceptional balance and response, the model is highly coveted for executing precise rudimental passages and delicate classical buzz rolls. Highly prized by classical percussionists. Classic rosewood is dense and heavy, providing an incredibly rich, dark tone and maximum projection. This wood variant is completely out of production by the manufacture. However, the Cooperman model 5 rosewood has been discontinued first-quality production of these sticks, making standard pairs exceedingly rare and out of stock across major retail channels. This pair is in really good condition with only minor dings, and or scratches.

Design & Specifications

The Model 5 is crafted with specific dimensions optimized for energy transfer, speed, and clear articulation:

• Length: 16 11/16"
• Grip Diameter: 21/32" (approx. 0.656") — a slightly bulkier grip compared to a standard 5A, providing robust control.
• Taper: Long taper designed to enhance speed, rebound, and physical response.
• Bead: Modified barrel bead that yields a broad, punchy, and deeply resonant tone on a concert snare.
