Description:

The Hosco TL-FF2 Fret Crown File is a precision maintenance tool featuring a medium 2mm (0.08in) radius. Specifically designed for standard frets, this file allows luthiers and players to reshape fret tops with accuracy. The 105mm (4.1in) file length provides a stable surface for crowning, while the 195mm (7.7in) total length ensures the tool is easy to control during delicate repair work on the fingerboard.

Constructed for durability and consistent performance, this Hosco file is a primary tool for fretwork. It is used to restore the proper crown profile to medium frets after they have been leveled, ensuring the instrument maintains proper intonation and playability. This tool is an essential addition to a guitar maintenance kit, offering the specific dimensions required for standard fret wire specifications commonly found on a variety of electric and acoustic instruments.
