The Voodoo Lab Proctavia is an octave fuzz inspired by the classic Octavia sound of the late 1960s. It combines an aggressive fuzz with an upper-octave effect, producing biting, harmonically rich lead tones in the spirit of Jimi Hendrix’s recordings.

The octave effect becomes especially pronounced when using the neck pickup and playing single notes around the 12th fret. Adjusting the guitar’s volume and picking attack reveals different textures, from a softer, wiry fuzz to more intense, explosive sounds. Two controls, Volume and Boost, adjust the output level and amount of fuzz.
