Seymour Duncan SH-10b Full Shred Zebra Pickup

The SH-10b Full Shred delivers aggressive, articulate tones with a tight, controlled response that cuts through dense mixes without losing definition. Designed for bridge position installation, this medium-output humbucker excels in high-gain contexts where clarity and punch are non-negotiable. The shorter Allen head poles and carefully tuned resonance peak make this pickup a workhorse for hard rock, metal, and modern styles demanding precision and aggression.

Tone & Electronics

A 14.1k Ω DC resistance and 5.5 KHz resonant peak create a focused, punchy midrange that preserves note definition even under extreme distortion. This medium-output design balances sensitivity with headroom, responding cleanly to pick dynamics while maintaining tight low-end control and articulate high-frequency response ideal for fast riffing and lead work.

Design & Build

Hand-built in the Santa Barbara, CA factory using premium Alnico 5 bar magnet construction and a nickel silver bottom plate, this pickup combines traditional craftsmanship with modern specifications. Vacuum wax potting eliminates microphonics, and the included 4-conductor shielded hookup cable supports coil-splitting and series/parallel wiring options.
