The L/C1 is a classic opto compressor with ratio selection, built around fully discrete Class A VF600 amplifiers with custom-wound Cinemag input and output transformers. It's the successor to the legendary Inward Connections "The Brute," now with an added ratio knob and updated faceplate — the same beloved circuit that's a go-to for smooth, musical vocal and bus compression.

Controls: Gain reduction, 6 selectable ratios (2:1, 4:1, 6:1, 8:1, 10:1, 12:1), output level, link, bypass, 250Hz high-pass filter, VU meter switchable between gain reduction and output level.
