A beautiful and very well-preserved 1998 Parker Fly Classic, made in the USA during the original Ken Parker era.
This is a genuine pre-refined Parker Fly, from the period when Ken Parker was still overseeing production in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The pre-2003 Flys are particularly sought after by Parker enthusiasts because they represent the original Parker design and construction, before the later "Refined" changes introduced after Parker Guitars changed ownership. The Fly Classic is identifiable by the BMH suffix in the serial number, referring to its basswood neck and mahogany body.

The guitar is fully functional, including the Fishman piezo system. The piezo works perfectly, as do the magnetic pickups and controls.
The guitar is currently set up with the original .009 tremolo spring, and I will include the original .010 spring as well. Both springs are included with the sale.
Condition
The guitar is in very good condition for a 28-year-old instrument. The finish remains exceptionally glossy and the translucent blue finish shows the character of the mahogany body beautifully.
There are some minor signs of use consistent with its age, but no significant structural damage or modifications. Please study all photographs carefully for the exact cosmetic condition.
As far as I know, the guitar remains completely original apart from normal maintenance/setup.
