The 000-28 has been a staple of the Martin lineup since its introduction in the early 20th century. The specs for the model have been fairly consistent since the 1930s, until Martin overhauled its Standard Series in 2018 into the “Reimagined” line. This 1991 model features the traditional Standard Series appointments that defined the model for decades, known for a more "balanced" and "focused" sound compared to the boomier 2018 version. It is one of the last of its kind before Martin changed the fundamental bracing and aesthetic of the entire series. Many players specifically seek out these pre-2018 models for their specific neck feel and tonal "punch”.
