About this listing
Ok in some circles these are called the “Nocaster Strat” because of the color and likeness to the early 1st beauties. This is what it really is:2012 Fender American Standard Satin Stratocaster HSH in VERY THIN and VERY COOL HAND RUBBED Amber Stain!Because they finish it so unique and thin, there are a few spots along the side, but nothing major trust me you’ll add more!!!.. but these things are not to be handled with gloves or in a delicate fashion… these are workhorses and really bring quite a bit more power and edge than we’re used to from our Fender Fam! The action is great playability is easy and comfortable, and even though you get a bit more raw power out of this thing… you can still dial in that classic twangy greatness..This will be a great addition to any Fender players live or studio Arsenal!! Weighs in at Back Friendly UNDER 8lbs at 7.6.. yessThanks for the interest folks. Here are the factory specs:Key Features:Body: Ash with a hand-rubbed amber stain and satin finish.Neck: Maple with a satin finish on the back and a gloss headstock front, rosewood fingerboard.Neck Profile: Modern "C" shape.Pickups: HSH configuration with Twin Head humbuckers (neck/bridge) and an American Standard single-coil (middle).Bridge: 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with vintage-style steel saddles.Hardware: Staggered tuners, synthetic bone nut, Bi-Flex truss rod.Controls: Master Volume, Tone 1 (Neck), Tone 2 (Middle/Bridge).Finish: A thinner satin finish that gives it a unique vibe and feel. Why It's Special:FSR (Fender Special Run): It was a limited production model, making it more exclusive than standard American Standards.Hand-Rubbed Finish: The stain and satin lacquer gave it a more organic, worn-in feel and character.HSH Versatility: The humbucker/single/humbucker setup provided powerful lead tones and classic Strat sounds, a step up in sonic range for the American Standard line.Refined American Standard: It took the reliable American Standard platform and added unique aesthetics and electronics, creating a "refined" and desirable player's guitar.
