ENGL Amps Savage 60 Mark II Head E630II
The Savage 60 Mark II is a four-channel tube amplifier engineered for players who demand articulate aggression across both clean and high-gain territories. Built entirely from tubes with no semiconductors in the signal path, this 60-watt head delivers organic tonal response and responsive dynamics that define professional-grade amplification for studio and stage alike.
All-Tube Architecture & Sonic Performance
Six 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes and two EL34 power amp tubes form the foundation of this amp's tonal palette, providing harmonic richness and natural compression throughout the signal chain. The fully tube-based design—with no semiconductors from input to output—ensures that every stage of gain and tone shaping responds with the natural breakup and dynamics that solid-state circuits cannot replicate, making this amp responsive to touch and expressive across all four channels.
Connectivity, Control & Professional Features
Two tube-buffered FX loops with balance control integrate time-based and modulation effects without tone loss, while MIDI In/MIDI Thru connectivity enables complete remote control of all functions. A footswitchable noise gate, power tube monitor, and four distinct channels—Clean, Crunch I, Crunch II, and Lead—provide real-time performance control and protection in any environment.
