Electric Soul presents a Fender Jim Root Stratocaster in Flat Black finish. This is the full professional, American-made version of the Slipknot guitarist’s signature model, designed specifically for modern high-gain playing.

While based on the classic Stratocaster shape, this guitar is far removed from traditional Fender specifications. A mahogany body, active EMG 81/60 pickups, a comfortable Modern C neck with an ebony fingerboard, compound radius, jumbo frets, and modern hardware including locking tuners and a hardtail bridge create the perfect setup for heavy contemporary tones.

Jim Root moved away from Fender’s traditional 1950s and 1960s specifications, demonstrating how far the classic Stratocaster and Telecaster designs can be pushed. The result is an excellent blend of timeless styling and modern performance, making this one of Fender’s most respected and sought-after metal signature models.

This particular guitar was made in 2024 and is in virtually new condition. It shows no signs of use or wear and is indistinguishable from a brand-new example. In terms of setup and playability, it arguably performs even better than a factory-fresh instrument.
