Here we have a rare collector’s Epiphone from 2006, made in Korea – from the very first production series of 2006. The Tony Iommi Signature G-400 special model follows one unmistakable theme: all black – back to Black Sabbath.

Legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi put his name and endorsement on this savage axe based on the classic 1962 Gibson SG. All the bite, tone and playing comfort you need, featuring 24-fret Slim-Taper neck, Gibson USA Tony Iommi Humbuckers and Tony's distinctive ‘cross’ inlays! Finished in Ebony and Black Chrome.”

And yes, this thing rocks – seriously. Equipped with Gibson USA Tony Iommi humbuckers, distinctive mother-of-pearl cross inlays in the fingerboard and an entirely black appearance, it makes its intentions perfectly clear even before you plug it in. Tonally, it delivers exactly what you would expect from this model: power, bite and a massive rock sound.

The 24-fret SlimTaper neck feels comfortable in the hand and makes the guitar very easy to play despite its uncompromising appearance.

The guitar is in very good condition. It shows normal signs of play and a few light, superficial scratches in the finish, most likely caused by cleaning rather than intensive playing. We deliberately kept the guitar completely original. The factory fretwork is in good condition and shows only very minor wear, so no fretwork was necessary.

It is almost too special for the stage and certainly interesting for collectors – but honestly, this guitar wants to rock.
