Electric Soul presents the LTD KH-602, the well-known and highly popular signature model for Metallica’s Kirk Hammett.

This is a higher-tier model compared to the budget KH-202, and it is very close to the iconic ESP KH-2. It offers a fully professional specification without structural compromises and really delivers. The older Korean-made version we have here (from 2007) is especially well-respected and highly valued.

The guitar features a neck-thru-body construction, which is one of its most important highlights. This provides comfortable access to the highest frets and excellent overall sustain. It has an alder body, a maple neck with a Thin U profile (which is quite thick for a superstrat), and a rosewood fretboard with the characteristic skull & bones inlays. On board, you’ll find a set of active EMG 81 pickups and a high-quality Floyd Rose bridge. While the ESP KH-2 version might have more prestige and slight advantages in the fine details, the KH-602 is a fully professional tool offering great value for money. This guitar was built for heavy playing, though like all of Hammett’s guitars, it draws some clear inspiration from classic designs. It’s an excellent instrument for metal players and, of course, Metallica fans.

The guitar is nearly 20 years old but remains in very good condition. You will find some minor signs of use like small scratches and dings, but it’s purely cosmetic. Technically, everything is perfect. It is fully functional, and the frets are in great shape.

The gig bag shown in the photos is included. It’s nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.
