Ultra Rare 1950s Harmony No.1007 Archtop "Made in Occupied Japan" by Kasuga with Vintage Guyatone Pickup
Up for sale is an incredibly rare, museum-quality piece of Japanese guitar history: a 1950s Harmony No.1007 Archtop Guitar, manufactured by Kasuga Musical Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Nagoya, Japan.
What makes this guitar an absolute holy grail for collectors is the original internal label clearly stamped: "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN" (dating it strictly between 1947 and 1952).
Additionally, it features an extremely early Guyatone (Tokyo Sound) Electronic Floating Pickup system attached. The original metal plate reads "GUYATONE Sound products". The distinct vintage dual-knob control setup (Volume/Tone) remains completely intact, representing the very dawn of Japanese electric guitar development.

- Original 3-on-a-plate open-gear tuners with all original buttons intact.
