For sale is a fantastic 1960 Gibson Melody Maker, made in the USA during one of Gibson’s most desirable vintage periods.
This is a wonderful early Melody Maker with beautiful natural aging and plenty of real vintage mojo. The guitar has aged gracefully over the decades, with a worn-in look, great character and the kind of feel that only a true old instrument can have.
The potentiometers have been changed, but the guitar retains its classic vintage soul and is fully working and ready to play. It is very comfortable, lightweight and easy to handle, with a lively acoustic response and an inspiring feel in the hands.
Most importantly, it sounds excellent — open, raw, dynamic and musical, with that unmistakable early Gibson character. A great instrument for blues, rock, garage, indie, recording and vintage-style tones.
The guitar comes with an old case suitable for transport.
