For sale is a very cool 1974 Gibson Ripper Bass, made in the USA during the classic Norlin-era Gibson period.
The Ripper is one of Gibson’s most distinctive 1970s bass designs, known for its comfortable double-cut body, long-scale feel and wide tonal range. It delivers a powerful, warm and punchy vintage tone with plenty of clarity and character, making it a great choice for rock, funk, soul, studio work and live playing.
This example comes complete with its case and the very rare original-style bridge cover, which is often missing from these basses. The bridge cover adds strong collector appeal and completes the classic vintage look of the instrument.
