Electric Soul presents the unique Gibson N-225 guitar.

Calling this model unusual and relatively rare is probably not enough. It is one of the craziest projects ever released by the American manufacturer. The instrument completely abandons the traditional Gibson style and surprises with both its bold design and uncommon technical specification. This is definitely not a guitar for players looking for classic construction and traditional tones. It is a highly alternative instrument in terms of style, perfect for guitarists who appreciate limited series, less common models, and live by the rule “stand out or die.”

The Gibson N-225 is made entirely of maple. That alone is quite unusual for a Gibson, but the most eye-catching feature is the very original asymmetrical body shape, which immediately shows that this is something outside the usual Gibson canon. The construction is also surprising, the model is an open-chambered semi-hollow guitar with a hollowed body similar to the Midtown model, but equipped with openings far from traditional f-holes. On top of that, there is aggressive black hardware, a diamond headstock inlay, and block inlays borrowed from Custom models. Pure madness!

The guitar is equipped with a very distinctive pickup set: a smooth P-90 single coil at the neck and a powerful Dirty Fingers Humbucker at the bridge (with coil-splitting option). This contrasting combination provides a wide range of sounds, from clear and dynamic clean tones to heavier and more aggressive distortion. The excellent versatility is matched by a comfortable Slim Taper ’60s neck profile, designed for fast and comfortable playing.

As if all of this was not enough, the guitar also features a Vibrola tailpiece. This vintage-style element in such a modern and experimental model is the perfect finishing touch and another wink toward Gibson fans. In this guitar, everything mixes with everything else, making it one of the most interesting and unconventional chapters in modern Gibson history.

The guitar comes from 2013 and is in collector’s condition. There may be minimal cosmetic signs of use, but they are truly insignificant. Technically, the instrument is fully functional.

The set includes the original hard case with white plush interior and a full set of documents.
