Tone:

The semi-open back design sits perfectly between a classic closed-back 4x12 and an open-back combo — the sound is spacious and three-dimensional, with a natural breathiness in the upper frequencies while retaining a solid, controlled low-end foundation. There's none of the tight, compressed mass of sound typical of fully closed cabinets — instead you get more air, more depth, and a quality that fills a room in a way few cabinets can.

The MC-90 speakers bring their own character to the equation: characteristic Celestion crunch, defined attack, midrange grain, and warm, non-fatiguing highs.
