For Sale: 1983/84 Fender Jazz Bass (Late CBS Era)

Up for grabs is my trusty Fender, which has been my main go-to bass since 2009. I personally imported it from the UK back then, and it’s been a rock-solid companion ever since.

The Specs & Upgrades:

I’ve made a few classic upgrades to make it play and sound even better:

• Bridge: Leo Quan Badass Bridge (for that extra sustain!).
• Pickups: Fender Original '62 pickups for that iconic vintage thump.
• Shielding: The cavity is fully shielded with copper foil, so it’s nice and quiet.

Don't worry – I still have all the original parts! The sale includes the original bridge, pickups, and the classic one-piece white pickguard.

Condition:

For a 40-year-old instrument, it’s in very good shape. It hasn’t been "kept under a blanket" – it’s a player’s gear, so you’ll find some honest scratches and dings that give it a lovely patina.

What makes it special?

• Unique Serial Number: It features a rare 5-digit serial number. In all my years in Poland, I’ve only ever seen one other like it.
• The Neck: It has a slim, fast profile – definitely what you’d call a "racing neck." It’s incredibly comfortable to play.
