A stunning 1969 Gibson SG Special, built with the desirable 1968 specifications, finished in classic Cherry.

This is a fantastic example of a late-60s SG Special with great character, resonance and vintage vibe!

An especially interesting detail is the original case sticker from Harris Landis (Australia), the iconic Australian Gibson dealer and distributor active during the 1960s and 1970s: instruments imported through Harris Landis supplied many Australian music stores and were part of the same distribution network that served the early Australian rock scene — including all guitars of AC/DC!!

The sticker provides a fascinating period-correct provenance, suggesting the instrument (or at least its case) passed through the Australian Gibson distribution network of the era!

The guitar itself has all the features players love about 68 SG Specials: lightweight mahogany body, 3p mahogany neck, nice round chunky profile, the 40mm nut width, powerful P-90 pickups, and the raw, aggressive tone that made this model a rock and blues classic!

Fully original and in excellent vintage condition, with honest playwear consistent with age.
