With a Vintage Yellow Sunburst Solid Spruce top on Flame Maple back and sides, you not only get stunning aesthetics but a beautiful natural tone too, rich and even, it delivers the smooth soul and jazz vibes that George Benson is so well known for. It's super dynamic and has great response.
The Benson 3 piece Nyatoh/Maple set neck features a bound Ebony fingerboard, adorned with intricate Abalone inlays it has a real premium feel. With 20 medium frets, a 24.65" scale and Ibanez Artstar fret treatment, it plays like a dream.
Loaded with Super 58 pickups you get a sweet vintage jazz tone, with super clarity and note definition it is the sound that has inspired some of his greatest hits.
