Introducing the Catalinbread Airstrip CB-Range Discrete Console Pre pedal, inspired by the Trident A-Range, a legendary console used in the UK from the 1960s through the 1980s. The Airstrip's overall gain structure can be adjusted to be warm and subtle all the way up to a screaming, in-your-face fuzz sound thanks to its germanium-and-transformer-equipped preamp. More saturation, harmonics, and other desirable tonal artifacts are achievable the higher the Push knob is turned. Meanwhile, the treble Filter helps to set a nice balance of tone depending on which guitar or rig you’re using, so you’ll consistently achieve a sonically pleasing result. Needless to say, bringing a large console to your next gig is impractical, but you can easily incorporate the vintage console sound with Catalinbread's stompbox-sized Airstrip on your pedalboard!
