I’m offering a Gibson Les Paul Studio Lite M-III from 1993, finished in the rare Trans Blue. This is one of the most unusual Gibson designs of the early ’90s, combining the classic Les Paul silhouette with a feature set inspired by the superstrat era. The H-S-H pickup layout, expanded switching options, and the weight-relieved Chromyte construction make the M-III line one of the most versatile and collectible Gibson series ever produced.
The Studio Lite version uses a mahogany body reinforced with a Chromyte core — a lightweight structural insert that keeps the guitar resonant and lively while reducing overall weight. The factory pickup set is the original M-III configuration: a 400T bridge humbucker, an NSX single-coil in the middle, and a 496R humbucker at the neck. Combined with the mini-toggle switching, this guitar covers everything from thick, aggressive modern tones to bright single-coil clarity.
This example is fully functional, plays comfortably and stays in tune. A great player’s guitar with genuine early-’90s Gibson character.

Condition
The guitar shows honest cosmetic wear typical for a 1990s Gibson — surface marks on the body and lacquer wear on the back of the neck. Nothing affects playability or stability.
The neck is straight, truss rod works properly, and the frets are in very good condition with no need for leveling. Electronics are clean and fully functional.
This is a lightweight, resonant and highly flexible instrument. Studio Lite M-III models have become increasingly collectible thanks to their unusual design and short production run, especially in the Trans Blue finish.
