(AK: 222) Here is an original Framus 4-string, Peter Kraus model with original autograph.... this is the elaborately crafted version in a then-fashionable color combination of red/orange, gold metallic lacquer, model no. 5/140 Peter Kraus Solist! Framus built the legendary Peter Kraus guitar for the "new German superstar" in 1957! What's special about this model: It has only four strings. Kraus only played mandolin in his youth and was therefore unfamiliar with the classical guitar with six strings. So, this is a special tenor guitar! The 4-string guitar is perfectly playable and in original condition!
