We have a highly popular Competition Red (1971) Mustang in stock from Fender's vintage line.

The beautiful racing stripes and deep red finish give it an overwhelming visual presence.

The short scale produces a soft sound and a clear single sound that can be used in any genre, from grunge to alternative and surf.

We have determined that this was probably made in 1971 based on the date on the pickup and the serial number on the body. The POT date is not visible, but we have determined that it is original.

The technician confirmed that the small parts on the bridge may have been changed, but the rest of the guitar is considered to be original.

The exterior is quite scratched, but this gives it a stately appearance.
